Introducing myself
I've decided to sign up with Colonial Fleets. I was a fan of Galactica when it first aired in 1978, as was my younger brother, who bought his first VCR in the summer of '78 and was lucky enough to video tape all the episodes of the series when they first aired, uncut. I felt the same disappointment everyone else did when the show met it's too soon cancellation in 1979.
I been visiting the SciFi Galactica board off and on since Alternity posted his plea for fans to vote in the prequel poll. Needless to say, I voted in favor of a prequel (though would have prefered a continuation).
I've viewed the chaos of the SciFi board for many years now, and have come to believe that my heart is here. I look forward to reading the posts here and engaging in interesting discussions with the fans here as well.:colwar:

AlphaNova,
WELCOME to Colonial Fleets, or as I like to call it -- the SANE ASYLUM!
You won't be disappointed -- the folks here are great. They speak from the heart and their love for the TRUE Battlestar Galactica knows no bounds. Mine, too!!!

Welcome Aldo Nova
I enjoyed your string of hits in the Eighties and I am glad you are a fan of Battlestar. I appreciate that your heart has brought you here and your wanting dialog and an exchange of ideas about what made Battlestar great.
But there will be no freeloading here Mister, you shall be called upon to put your ideas or desires for Battlestar on paper. That paper will be properly dressed with an envelope and stamp accessory.
These are trying times my friend and now...ah excuse me my wine glass is empty

Greetings AlphaNova...
Welcome to Colonial Fleets. Believe me, this place is a lot saner than the SciFi Board. You will enjoy it here.
Oh, Sept. 17th said you had a string of hit during the 80's. The only ones I remember are "Fantasy" (great video) and "Monkey On Your Back".
"Life is just a Fantasy, can you live this Fantasy..."
