Saga + Lost Planet = BSG Gold?

Has anyone ever thought of editing Saga of a Star World & Lost Planet of the Gods into one truly epic 4+ hour move incorporating Serena's deleted sickness scenes? I think it would be amazing, especially with new added FX & restructured sound.
The touching death scene of Serena would gain much grace presented in its original concept, without the melodramatic laser-hit-in-the-back addition, IMO.
