Viper Launch.
Some of you may have noticed a certain image on the front of the home page that Darrell made for Fleets. As you can see it is the rear shot of a viper launching down the launch tubes of the Galactica. Well here's that animation from about 2 years ago already. Don't worry folks i'll work up to the present stuff eventually.

I have a question for stevew....
How long are the viper launch tunnels?
I ask because I am using his model in an animation that I am working on. By the way steve excellent work on the Galactica model. I have textured it and if you would like to see it let me know.

Where would you like the images sent to?
I have compiled them into 1 zip file for ease of transfer. The Image resolution id 1920x1080
I hope you like them. I am using the lw conversion. It took me 2.5 days to complete. But I think the time spent was well worth it. |

Hi boys and Girls...
I have studied the floor plan of the landing bay that was available on this forum, and I have mnaged to just the launch tunnel length to be abot 120 feet.
Given the length of a Mk1 Viper is 28ft, you can fit 4 vipers in the tunnel on the floor plan.
