I think he used the comic book drawings of Cylons as referrences

Actually i used a very small figure of a cylon to do it. Let just say it wasn't totally accurate.

Reminds me of these guys: polished plate and sallets. On a bright day they are blinding (and their cylon impressions can be pretty funny, too..)
