Wonderful scene! Not worth sitting through the second hour of GFE but a joy nonetheless.
I like the scene for how it's played, BUT there's a major fx foul up...the EA "destroyer" is not all that bigger than a Colonial shuttle, if the fx are to be believed.

I confess there isn't one episode that I didn't like.

Magnificent Warriors. There's no contest there.

The first few minutes were good. Cylon patrol discovers the fleet. Attacks the agro ship before it's destroyed. Ship finds they need seed to make new food.

After that.....SPLAT!

Surprising people mention 'Fire in Space'. I thought the cast gave good performances in that one. Boxey wasn't too annoying, and he tried to help out with the rejuvenation center survivors that Boomer was trying to keep alive. Tigh trying his best to lead in the absence of Adama. And Adama showed strength of character even when injured he was still doing all he could to lead his people to safety. Pinned under a scaffold he asks for a damage report, and says the Vipers would be the eyes when the scanners were destroyed. Not to mention Adama's idea to let the vaccum of space smother the fire.

There may be some cheeseball moments, especially with Boxey and Muffet. But I think there were also moments where strength of character was shown here.

Greetings from Earth. First episode had a good lead in. Second....well yeah. Not a SPLAT like 'Magnificent Warriors' was, but not the best either.
