Anybody Notice Enterprise...
... seems to be broadcast quite well. If you have a home theatre, you get widescreen and the sound is very much like DD 5.1 or similar. You can especially tell when they go in the launch bay, you get echo from the surround speakers. I can't judge either way about the show itself, but I think the way they broadcast it is pretty cool.
Reminds me of the ancient days when we'd look for the little flags next to the shows in the TV guide that said <Color> .

We had a black & white TV set till 1977, so I never looked for those tags.
All those shows I watched as a kid often shocked me when I saw them again as an adult as I hadn't realized they were in colour. My Three Sons, All in the Family, Adam-12, Family Affair, and others, I thought they were B&W shows.
My Grandparents did have a colour TV set, but we didn't watch much on tv when we were there. The Wonderful World of Disney, The Lawrence Welk Show, Hee Haw, the Rose Parade repeats, and the New Year's Eve thing with that bandleader (Guy Lombardo? Does that sound right?). Maybe a Christmas special or two, if they were shown on Saturday or Sunday.

We had a BW console TV! Was pretty cool as later in life my folks gave it to me for my room (it was really a spare as color sets failed alot).
We lived in an apartment complex and would go over to some close friends every Tuesday that had a color set. We did this for just 2 shows, The Flintsons and Johnny Quest!
Yeah, Enterprise is shot for HDTV.

Welcome, welcome Xanatos!!! Sounds like you have a better setup than me .
And I agree, I will not be tuning in to the horrid remake either. I just keep sighing about what might have been...
