The second is a video my fiancee took when we saw the last night launch. They invited us to the VIP section at the Cape because of my work in Iraq.

The second does give a sense of what its like to be at the launch rather than getting the TV edits. It also shows that the families of senators and NASA execs act pretty much like everyone else when they see a spaceship race into outer space. This video is unique in that it shows the shuttle shoving the clouds out of the way as it passes through them.
