Trek Question: Confirmed Constitution class starships refitted
As in the refit that we saw in ST:TMP.
Are there any references to any other named ships in the class getting the refit, or is it a 'taken' that all were refitted?

I'd say that they were all refitted. either that or decommissioned and replaced with new refit type ships.
once the Show moved to movies, you never saw another Constitution class at all. unless you tyake into concideration the Enterprise A, since it's supposedly was constructed as a different ship and was renamed in honor of the Original Enterprise.

Re: Trek Question: Confirmed Constitution class starships refitted
Yeah, it's definitely a Connie.
When FASA Games had the rights to do RPG stuff for Star Trek, they had called it the "Enterprise" class, and even served as heavy source material for the book "Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise". Unfortunately, as good as the book was, it was not considered canonical information.
Paramount soon swiped the rights from FASA to produce any more Star Trek material, as it was conflicting with what was established on screen, or was being outmoded by what would appear on screen later. Example given: The Enterprise C in the ST:TNG Sourcebook was referred to as an Alaska-class. In later years, Paramount would officially refer to the Ent-C as an Ambassador class.

a retcon for the Enterprise Class was nameing the refit subclass after the enterprise. An Enterprise Class Constution Class Ship. Pretty Lame if you ask me, but that worked in there somewhere.

Yeah, I think that was for the Enterprise A and ships after that (which we never got to see). The Ent A was built from the keel up as a brand new ship, and named something else....different sources offer different names, before it was renamed the Enterprise.

Re: Trek Question: Confirmed Constitution class starships refitted
I think it was the USS York (Yorktown?) renamed to the Enterprise-A.
Just that alone suggests other old Connies were refitted as well.
The only one not refitted would be the ones that went missing or were destroyed.

Most of the sources I have found to say it was the Yorktown.
