The original BSG uniforms were the most beautiful costumes ever seen on TV.

I always thought the Star Trek movie era uniforms were good. I think it's something about that era, they knew how to make realistic looking uniforms for TV without resorting to flimflammery. THe only uniforms I like from recent TV are the Babylon 5 uniforms and the stuff from farscape. I hate the current obsession with pyjamas that seems to afflict so much TV.

Great pic!
I agree anout the costumes that they were one of the most beutiful, especially the dress uniforms, both tan and blue. Also the V costumes. Yes Both ST wrath of Khan And First Contactwere good, it was time that got away from the body glove uniforms.

Love it!
I like seeing pretty ladies in skin tights but, agreed. More authentic and beautiful is definitely better in my book.
The whole show has that feel by the way. It's sooooo obvious they blew there budget on special effects and had nothing left for important things like costumes!!! What were they thinking anyway?

To me the new uniforms look like a bad copy of B5. I do know they look nothing like BSG. I loved those jackets!:colwar:

Welcome to Colonial Fleets, Viper4! I loved the original jackets too. In fact, the BSG warrior and commander uniforms are my favorite of /any/ scifi show!
