the day the cylons shot to pieces
Today has to be a day that the cylons have set out to destroy my well ordered list of things to do before my trip tommorrow. Today was supposed to be my laundry and baking day. So I got up and got the hubby off to work on time, did my morning email session (only to get crabbed at by my elder sister via email) cause she ain't going on the trip, ate breakfast and got myself ready to face the day, called mom and talked to her for a few and then off to the store I went to buy a few things I needed for the trip that I was out of. Came home, got my laundry down stairs and got that going. Well then I turned my attention to the baking. Started the brownies only to find out hubby knowing I was going to bake goodies for the trip forgot to buy eggs, so I made a modification or two to the mix and baked them. only a few came out the way they were supposed to so I put them in a container. So I called mom again and asked her to bring some eggs so that I can do the muffins in the morning as I pack. So now the laundry is done and so I am going to hang it on the clothes rack so that in the morning I can just grab what I want and throw it in the travel bag!
Can I get some warriors or beavers to get these pesky cylons off my back so I don't go bananas before tommorrow?

thanks guys that is what I need right now comic relief. Hubby had advanced training last week and this week. Last night we discussed his staying on the base where he drills and does his AT tonight as he would get a good night's rest for the trip tomorrow as we are leaving shortly after he gets home from his last day of AT. So I am staying up till my parents get here tonight and then I will have to spend a lonely night without my hubby. I have already cried once tonight after he called me before he went to get some dinner. I probably will get another call from him tonight and then I will be in tears again.

well everything went okay. now today is another story. My youngest brother is mad at mom and dad for something, I don't know what the heck is going on with him lately. So here I was a few minutes ago going over my email and lo and behold I got a nasty email from my brother. Now I live about two hours from them and I call my mom everyday to talk with her for a few minutes, but I stay out of everyone's petty wars with each other unless I can tell that mom is getting upset. So I read the email and I am royally confused as to what my hubby and I did to my little brother but he cursed and said some very hurtful things in this email. God why, can't he grow up and act as the mature adult he is supposed to be? My brother knows that I don't get involved in someone else's fight unless I am dragged into it. This time I am totally innocent and getting the rotten end of the stick.

Bojay uses the term "actuate" in TLL.

Re: the day the cylons shot to pieces
this is another one of those days for me. My nit picky Lit. professor gave me a C on an essay for his class. I've never gotten a C on an English assignment before! To top it off I have to sit around all day and wait for the mail to show up because our bank rejected the direct deposit of our state tax refund two days ago so the state had to send it by mail. To add to my misery, I have not one, not two, but three stories to read for class and make notes on for tommorrow. Thank the Gods that I only have one math problem to complete on the homework to hand in tommorrow and just notes to take in my Western Civ. class.
