Desanto Centurion
Hello everyone,
I am new to this beautifull forum and i have a question.
I am looking for a mesh or stl of the desanto centurion. I want to build a studio model of the centurion uppertorso so i can build a highend watercooled pc into it. I am currently working on a model of the ablative armour voyager (from endgame) with a length of 154 cm and 60 cm wide. It will feature lots of custom parts and for example the warp nacelles are the waterreservoirs lit up by led's. I know its a bit off topic (ie not 3D) but i hope you can help!
Many thanks in advance!

To see some of my work captured in my buildlog (in dutch only sorry)

Re: Desanto Centurion
Hi Taranis,
Thansk for your reply!
Yes I did check the galery. It has the same wax sculpture and artists impression images i found on the web. But unfortunately my skills lie in the creation of reallife models and pc's and not in 3D mastery. I have the utmost respect for you guys that make these 3D models as i know how difficult it can be to get right in the real world.
Maybe you can point me to someone who can create a STL or mesh from those images in the galery? I do have some budget so it wouldnt have to be a freebie.
Thanks!

Re: Desanto Centurion
well that is out side my skill....
I know of a few modellers that might tackle this but they work as professionals..
I will point them in this direction as let them see your intentions . but it will be up to them to get in touch with you... as they can be busy and in the past when I or other have point someone in their direction
it became a problem for there own work.
But I will point them here. and see what happens

Re: Desanto Centurion
I am unsure of what exactly you are making. If this is a suit, costume or of that nature than here:

Re: Desanto Centurion
Well, this is the current state of the EURISKO project.
Its a foam model that will be covered with Epoxy/glass and airbrushed.
After all that work i will build a highend watercooled pc and servo assembly (for making the warp nacelles move upwards) into the model
My Next project will be the head and shoulder part of the desanto centurion, into which again i will build a high end watercooled pc and i am thinking of using collision detection hardware to make the led lights in the eyes fixate on the object in front of it.
But i need a 3d model of the centurion to get the proper dimensions and calculate space available for the hardware.
Hope this makes it more clear ?
My apologies if this is off topic for this forum !

Thanks!
Sure, what i can do is put the build log on this forum also if that's ok.
It will also be on Tweakers.net and bit-tech.net.
