Shuttle Night Launch
I had the very good fortune to be a guest of two of my NASA friends for the night launch tonight. We were right across the river on Cape Canaveral when the shuttle took off. It was totally amazing!!! This is the photo, which is sorta like finished artwork. (Apologies to the mods ... I know this is a big stretch, I just didn't know where else to post this).
This was from six miles away, close enough in real life to see the shuttle go up. She was blurred into the glow of the flames in the photograph.

Sandy,
This is a fine place for the picture....art takes on many forms, ya know.
Besides, the pic is absolutely stunning!

No objections on my part, either, and for the same reasons.
You are a photographer, my friend. Fantastic shot.

From the title I thought you had created some more of your amazing art or animation of the Galactica shuttle.....now I realise this is one of our human shuttles !
Always wanted to see a shuttle(either!) launch, amazing image......
