My Current Work-in-Progress: A Warrior's Brother.
Hello, all. For the past week, or so, I have been dedicating almost all of my time to a new piece, of mine.
A Warrior's Brother.
I star in it, as the main protagonist. (Reading this will explain about my username).
I am the 24 year-old brother of Starbuck, whom was thought to have flunked out of the Caprican Academy, but passed with flying colours, and assigned to the Atlantia.
This piece is set during and through Saga Of A Star World.
I won't spoil any more. Sorry.

Nah, this is my own imagination. This work is coming along brilliantly.

How do you work it in around what we know from the show/canon?

Re: My Current Work-in-Progress: A Warrior's Brother.
It starts off right at the beginning of SOASW (Saga Of A Star World), where Starbuck fakes illness so Zac can go on patrol with Apollo. I've made a fair few changes, reading the early draft of the original script, and watching the DVD helping me greatly. There are some parts missing, those'll be sorted later. I don't want to spoil anything, but if you have questions, I'll try my best to answer.

Well, it sounds intriguing. Anything with the real Starbuck can't be all bad.
There's certain submission rules and whatnot that's around someplace. Just so you don't make the same mistake as I did when I got going. ha

Life on the Pacifica has stalled dead. A few words here, some there but no progress.
Best of luck on your story

I hope things on the Pacifica get back to normal, as soon as possible. We cannot have a surviving Battlestar with no communication.
Thank you, I promise you, you will enjoy it. (The story, I mean).

you're most kind. She won't be alone for long. Trust me, I have six episodes planned with notes for more. The prologue alone of the current story on the forum should give an indication.
But yes, I do look forward to the story. Take your time, rushing it will do no good, trust me

Re: My Current Work-in-Progress: A Warrior's Brother.
I'll have a look at your prologue, once I get around to it.
Thanks for the advice, I'm taking extreme care and time with this piece. It'll be good enough for the Council of the 12!

Well, you know how picky the Council can get. You never know, I may even be given my own Battlestar. I think I'll have the Atlantia.

Re: My Current Work-in-Progress: A Warrior's Brother.
Oh, aye. Certainly will.
My story is, as of now, amazing. There's been a serious accident, the Colonies have been destroyed, and someone has revealed their feelings.
On a lighter note, Baltar is up for execution.

If anyone is interested, within the next couple of days, or so, I'll post a couple of chapters, for you to have a look through.
