Snake Fighter
Hi!
This is my first wip for BSG Universe, and I started with a concept from my own. The nose won´t be like in my handdrawing, cause it has an Star Wars influence. So I present you the Snake fighter, which will be carried by my Patrolstar. The pilot is a David Kerin´s mesh, and is just a placeholder.
Comments are welcome.

Re: Snake Fighter
COOL! Looking forward to seeing more. BTW, is this for TOS(78) or TNS(03) or a mix of both?

Re: Snake Fighter
I like it. Has the look of something Colonial without going for the typical three engine design. Its has its own design, but fits into the BSG universe. Although you said its intended to be TNS, the canopy definitely implies a TOS look. I of course don't mind it though as I much prefer the TOS hardware designs.

Re: Snake Fighter
Just taking note that the warrior is wearing TOS uniform, and helmet not the TNS attire.

Re: Snake Fighter
I found a free time again, so here it goes the updates.
The hull was redone, as the cockipt (now, it has the new vipers´ design). I´m thinking to change the original configuration for something like this. The engines (biotech´s mesh) are just placeholders.
Comments are welcome.

Re: Snake Fighter
It´s update time...
1- Finally I built an engine that I like.
2- Added greebles to the engines and the sides.
3- Connected the engine to the fuselage.
4- Removed the wings and weapons on top.
5- Redid the wings.
6- Added textures for test.
Hope that you like.

Re: Snake Fighter
Again, I changed things. I need help from you to decide the final shape of the wings and cockipt.
1- Wings with a cut at the backside and inverted red stripe
2- Wings without the cut and other direction for the red stripe
3- A cockipt with one seat or with two seats?
4- Do you like of the new wings on top?
Note that textures are just temp.

Re: Snake Fighter
Ok, changed the engines one more time. I believe this will be the final version for them. This version makes the fighter fits better in the new series. Looks better?
I decided that there is enough surfce under the wings for bombs (or nukes ), so, four of them will be added. The cockipt was caved too, and it will be a two sit fighter.
