Default Wanted - Landing Bay Help Please

hey guys,
many of you here are so artistically talented, me I build those plastic model things..

I am currently building a diarama of a landing bay, with 2 vipers in it.

One is stripped down to show air frame and mechanicals whilst the other will be worn and damaged but flyable. I am using TOS vipers for this, my favorite.

As such I am also building landing bay walls/dividers as in the original series.

Here is where I need help.

Can anyone come up with realise on going landing bay view that I can print and glue to either side of my diarama please..?

I read that on the original tv show they actaully used life size print of a viper and continuous viper/landing bay image also.

I am hoping to do the same only in minature.

Can or would anyone like to do this for me please..? Even at a cost I would be happy to throw someone a few reasonable dollars also.

thanks heaps guys/girls..

cheers,

The landing bay or the launching bay? in the case of the launching bay there are some studio blueprints available for that. I used them to build this model.

hey punisher, thanks for the reply dude..
the launch bay actually.

I'm looking for the view across multiple launch bays..

if you email me, I can email you the exact image i'm looking for.

I found a still from the series, but the camera angles are to high and just slightly off.

but it will give you the exact idea I am after.. unless you can work it out of course.

I really appreciate your help dude..

check this thread for some really crude images which were made to demonstrate a possible launching bay/landing bay configuration.

hey dude, yeah had a look at the thread.

basically you got it, I only want to build two sections actually, with out the launch tubes.

one will have a viper in it on landing gear stripped to a frame and the other will have another viper on landing gear just standing.

so naturally I need to build the surrounding frames/walls. Thats the easy bit.

but I am hoping someone from the forum will do some artwork of the next landing bay and next landing bay etc, I could glue to the side.

Far as I know, only Punisher has a Launching Bay model to do any renders.

I dont have the launching bay model in a condition for rendering right now. Most of it is in the middle of a rebuild. The bulkheads used in those old AO test renders have been modified and currently I dont even have a single scene with all the components assembled, and none of them are textured.
Sometime I'll be releasing a package of bulkheads and interior panels, but they just arent ready yet. Currently I am building a complete Landingbay Alpha model which has all the hangers elevators and launching bays. The individual compartments are currently 'bare' with just the doorways cut in.
Exporting each individual compartment or component to Cryengine2 and re-assembling in the sandbox2 editor, plus testing (lighting, collision, fitment, etc...) is taking a lot of time. Yesterday I started working on the elevator scripts, but I got side tracked because I still dont have any visible elevator controls yet. Its all a very slow process.

So basically, no I cant help right now, wish I could. But its just too far from usable right now, sorry.

hey guys I think your missing the point, I'm just looking for some free style art here.
Doesn't have to be exact at all..

I posted an image above of what I am after.

So please just some conception stuff, of vipers sitting in the bays side by side.

Again completely conceptual would be fine, if any one would like to have a crack.

doesn't need to be perfect at all.

Anyone..?

Its not that we don´t want to help!! . but Punisher is the only one who has the model even partly built.

I never built one, I only have the landing bay and that's it, no launch tubes and no time at the moment to give (that's me personally) to a new project.

perhaps given time it could be done. but that's the main problem is time. some of use can build the sets in 3D.
but it can take a week or more to build it... me anyway
and for it to be realistic too, means textures.

I for one am sorry I cannot help you on this at this time..

I only have a nuBSG launch tube setup and even that's in a state of disrepair at the moment.. I've been working on redoing the exteriors and the vipers first so I wish I could be of some assistance but alas..
