Star Trek USS ENTERPRISE NCC-1701 no bloody A - B - C or D

Hi all

Some of you know or not maybe.

I have been working on a Tutorial for the original USS Enterprise design in lightwave and I have more or less finished all the modelling aspect of it.

Its one of the best models I have built since I started to do cgi modelling 6 years ago.

There are no textures everything is modelled,.

Excellent work! The original and still my favorite of all Enterprise ships.

Do you plan to texture it?

Thanks all.
I do plan on texturing it. I am very rusty in this area so I will have to practice in the new year to get used it again.

I don´t have photoshop any more so I am looking at some art free programs to fill that gap..
Paint.net, Gimp, and see if I can get some good results.

I never liked what they did in the Smithsonian with the weathering job they did, it over the top for me.

That is really awesome work there T! Beautiful.
She is one of my favorite designs along with the "Big G" .
I do have a fondness for the ST-TMP Enterprise, a VERY close second design-wise to TOS Enterprise (IMHO of course) . Both are very elegant and graceful ship designs.

Thanks for the comments mates....

Its the design I dreamed about the most find it one of the most elegant as CBSG4ever points out.

for the textures I only want very subtle ones so I have to work on that.

But I am working on a update and will post later I hope.

Happy New Year 2012 to you all.
