bsg episode guide pt 1

yup, this is the first part of MY bsg 2003 episode guide. Tell me what you think. Apologies to Aaron Douglas since at the time of writing I hadn't yet figured out how to put you in there. but I'll be looking at some ideas.

1: ambush at Carillon

While sorting out their supply and resource situation, Adama realises the survivours need food and fuel. President Roslin agrees with him and orders are drawn up for the fighter squadron to start scouting for planets with harvestable food and fuel sources. A patrol by Lee and Kara stumbles upon a planet (Karillon) which after a brief survey, it seems to hold the resources they need. Roslin sees an opportunity for the survivours to stretch their legs. Adama disagrees knowing the planet might hold some unforeseen dangers but is overruled. An awards ceremony is organized for those who distinguished themselves during the battle of Ragnar (Ragnar station)

2: ambush at Carillon pt 2

Returning to the Galactica, Apollo and Starbuck find reporter Serina waiting for them. She wants an interview with the pilot that saved the president. Apollo, who doesn’t think that much of the press, declines at first, but under the influence of the commander, he agrees to escort Serina down to the awards ceremony. Just before the celebration, both Apollo and Starbuck hear about people disappearing. When one of those disappeared is one of the children of the fleet ( Boxey) the captain of the orphan ship enlists the help of the new about to be decorated viper pilots.
After getting separated from the captain, the two pilots continue their search until they hear someone shouting to let him go. The captain of the orphan ship has been captured by the inhabitants of the planet and is about to be turned into food for their young. He is rescued as is Boxey, who was supposed to have been next. In the confusion however, one of the aforementioned inhabitants, escapes and alerts the REAL owners of the planet, the Cylons.
However, since Carillon is considered a back water, the garrison consist of second line troops ( TOS model) naturally, our heroes don’t know this and make their escape to start the evacuation of the planet. During this evacuation, Apollo hands Boxey to Serina.
As the evacuation ships come under attack by Cylon fighters, they are suddenly intercepted by a squadron of vipers, the leader of which is none other then commander Adama himself. In an awesome display of flying skill, the squadron eliminates the Cylons.

3: the frontier

while on advanced patrol, Lee suffers engine trouble and has to set down near a settlement the ruler of which rules dictatorially through the hands of a hired gun. ( English hereditary country instead of American Wild West)

4: bootlegging

a new scanner, designed for advance scouting, by amongst others Gaius Baltar, lands Starbuck in jail.

5: the law

An accident with one of the ships of the fleet brings Apollo, Adama, Starbuck and Boomer down to a world where the natives get restless when they run out of food.

6: a womans fight

It is now clear the Cylons are on the trail of the fleet again. Starbucks advance patrol runs into trouble and has to crashland on a planet where the male warrior cast was once the supreme ruler.

7: the ice weapon

After losing a cadet due to a mysterious weapon during a patrol, Starbuck blaims herself. An unexpected change at redemption comes around when a mission is assembled to destroy the weapon. But would a woman want to be a part of a team of cutthroats that were being transported to a military prison during the Holocaust?

8: the living legend

A Galactica patrol is intercepted by other mark II vipers from the battlestar Pegasus. The Pegasus was part of a taskforce send to investigate what happened to the Delphian capital world of Gamoray when she mysteriously disappeared. When Apollo and Starbuck (the members of the patrol) are shown the bridge of the Pegasus, they are surprised to see children on it. Cain, the commander the Pegasus explains to them that when the Pegasus and her taskforce got to Gamoray, and after that.

The Pegasus then gets back to the fleet in time to help stop a major attack. During this attack however, two fuel tankers are destroyed. This means the Galactica will have to raid Gamoray to obtain the extra needed fuel.

9: fire in space

The Galactica takes a direct hit in the port bay and catches fire. The crew must work together to save the ship. ( look into the possibility of dedicating this one to the crew of the carrier USS Franklin, Forrestal or Enterprise. Each of these carriers had major fires)

10: puppets on a string pt 1

On advance patrol, Starbuck, Apollo and Sheba, one of the Delphian pilots to come over to the Galactica, find a habitable planet. On that planet is the wreck of a ship and a lone survivor. This lone survivour probes to be much more when he suddenly reveals number six to the rest of the command staff.

11: puppets on a string pt 2

Baltar and six are put in the brig for cooperating with the enemy. In the brig however, six first gets a visit from the mysterious one. She falls on her knees before him and asks “ Master, what have I done to deserve this?” the mysterious one, who by now has passed through the bars, answers “ Be patient. Soon Baltar will be one of us. He will assure our mastery of the humans is complete.” Then he passes through the wall to Baltars cell. Baltar is scared stiff. But, when the stranger shows him a glimpse into his fate, he decides to go with him.

Baltar finds himself on a Cylon basestar with Six at his side. A robot enters and mumbles those words which Cylons always speak to their leaders “ By your command.” Six smiles and tells him that the Cylons will protect him now, unless he carries out a little favour for them.

12: roots pt1

now hounded by Baltar, Adama stands for a big decision when a scouting patrol reports the end of the universe. In the meantime, since Apollo and the reporter have fallen in love with each other and have decided to seal/marry. The Priest that was present by the swearing in of President Roslin now officinates the wedding.

At the wedding reception, near one of the Galacticas larger portholes, during Adamas toast to the bride and groom, a solar flare up is visible. Adama over hears the priest quoting something and decides it bares investigating.

The fleet changes course to investigate.

Once they get through the void, the first thing they see is a planet. Overflights show it to have been inhabited, but a long time ago. A camp is established near the base of some very formal looking pyramids. Adama stays on the planet surface for that night, along with Roslin. (this due to her school teacher background) and Elosha the priest. Also along, to record it for historical purposes, Serina.

13: roots pt2

Roslin, Elosha, Adama, Apollo and Serina enter the biggest pyramid at the crack of dawn. Through Eloshas translating, they learn they are on Kobol. The seat from where the exploration of the twelve worlds were begun. They learn of the thirteenth tribe and their voyage to Earth. Roslin is astounded that Earth seems to exist after all, as is the commander.

The only one present in the room that is not astonished, is none other then Baltar. Lee wants to shoot him, but the commander prevents it, stating a shot might bring the place down around their ears. And, the commander wants to hear what Baltar has to say.
