I belileve that this is a "color rough" and not the final "tweaked" art. Unless, of course, Dave Dorman isn't getting paid his normal rate... and then he might be tempted to cheap out.
I've been in contact with Dave Dorman (I'm getting the art for issue 1 cover from him), and Carlos Rafael (artist) and Rick Remender (writer) to give them all info about the old show. They've had some good questions and I've been more than happy to spill as much info as they'd soak up.
I hope that I've been able to assist in making the comic better, if not simply more accurate. I just did a run-down on money in the Galactica universe for Rick the other day. I've referred Dave to several websites containing reference images, and I've sent jpeg reference to Carlos for a few items.
I'm sincerely looking forward to this series. Its been a while since we've seen any new "official" Galactica stories!
