Thank you Michael Faries and Tom DeSanto!!
It was a pleasure to see the designs for Tom's version of BSG. Man, I wish that was the version we got.
Just seeing that Bridge, knowing it was a renovation of the original, not a re-design, and knowing that Dirk "Starbuck" Benedict was going to be standing on that rail in the opening sequence, leaves a pit in my stomach for what might have been....
The other designs are awesome as well. I see the love for the Galactica there!
Go Tom DeSanto!!!
Sincerely,
Ken Thomson

A big DITTO from me! Here's a New Year's wish that that kind of passion and familiarity may see the silver screen soon!

Kudos to both
Seeing some of the designs while playing the game was moving. Yes what could have been. I say to what will be in the future. A Larson/DeSanto collaboration that does the property justice.

Thanks to DeSanto for the creation and thanks to Michael Faries for puting it in a presentation form!

Yes, Kudos!
I had mixed emotions while watching the slide presentation, knowing that we could have had this as Battlestar Galactica. That is what makes it so hard....
Equally hard, too, is the "Remembering Battlestar Galactica," on side 2 of disc 6 of the boxed set; while very interesting, you can see the wistfulness of the original cast, as there was no "final story" or conclusion for the original Battlestar...
I'm hoping that the letter writing campaign has/is going well, and that many participated.

At least Tom DeSanto was going to try to give everyone a chance to see something that would have brought us fans of the old and new fans something we would all want!
