There has always been something about the design I liked. But one MAJOR thing I've never liked that forward command section just looks out of place on the rest of the ship!!!
Great pictures though!

Out of place? Not at all. If the ship is toast, they could detatch, and get away. Escape craft for the crew.

Shrug, the first thing I shoot is the command (escape) section. Follows the logic of a brain kill.

Well the model seems to show a detachable forward section. It doesn't match what I remember from the series but hey, I can't take screen shots so I don't know for sure and I'd have to hunt it through to boot for the scenes, but I thought the forward section was slimmer than that.
