Am sorry to say, although it is a similar shape to the classic design. I don't like it.

the back end has the rough shape. But the mid section I remember having much fewer ribs and each was thicker.
Thought that could have changed.
But Lee had some pics, and they don't seem to match. I remember the area that said Galactica pretty well... Though I saw it at a very differnt angle... still...
DON? Wake up it's dawn, Don! Rise and shine!

Am I the only one that thinks it looks a lot smaller?
I've heard some people comparing it to the difference between TOS Enterprise and the Movie Era enterprise (yeah, Star Trek :P). Anyone else think that? Personally I don't see it at all. It doesn't capture the essence of the original and it looks tiny!

I placed this image next to one of the Galactica.
The Galactica looks way better than this ship. Looks more powerful, more menacing, more dangerous, and alot bigger than this ship.

The galactica from the miniseries is devoid of any charm and is visually boring. The ribs are repetative and do not suggest strength. The original Galactica was majestic and was increadibly detailed. To paraphrase Adama, based on the script, cast and production photos, trailer and comments by Moore, I hate this miniseries with every fibre of my existince.
