OK
where do we go from here? If Colonial Fleets is shutting down and the SCIFI board is now censored to continuation fans, do we now go over to the Cylon Alliance, the board that was started up by Two-Brained Cylon? And I was really starting to like this board a lot...it really seems like someone went through a lot of trouble to move this board to its' own website and make upgrades to it, only to shut down after a few weeks. Something tells me they were MADE to shut down.

As the owner of the forum, you certainly have the right to shut it down. I would not even consider questioning that. But, I do feel that you should provide the members of this forum a bit more than a 1 sentence announcement. If it's too touchy to post, then an email or PM would be appreciated.

when i first saw the announcment that cf was closing it was this, as posted in kingfishes topic "why"

One final thought: (and PLEASE, my friends, don't take this the wrong way)
In our zeal to Continue TOS, have WE done something wrong? Have we cast the Continuation effort in a bad light? Have we become Fanatics?
These are just some thoughts that suddenly surged to the forefront.
It used to be so simple -- I was in favor of a Continuation and I posted to that effect. Now, I just don't know. Maybe time to wash my hands of the whole damn thing!!
(I'm not leaving........yet)..

what happened? closing or not
is this forum going to close or what? first i come in this morning with no notice posted at the top of the forum. then i come back and it says the forum is closing tomorrow night. then i come back and it is closing "tonight night" then a hour later it is closed.
now it is back up, what is the deal.

I Am Sad
Today was a VERY sad day. I came here and saw a sign that said we were closing. Hell this is supposed to be our home Battlestar. A place of safety and comfort. A place to save our show and talk with others who feel the same way about a show that died prematurely. We elected a new prez who I stand behind 110%. OWD is the new leader who will take us into the next stages. Now I wonder what is our future? When we come back will the closed sign be hung or will we be open for business. We are all winners. I don't hang with losers. This is like my extended family.
