Default Heres some stuff that I can do

I admit, Im not a modeler, nor am I capable of the incredible stuff I see on here, but I can do a few things, and here what Ive done, I hope you like it for what its worth. (By the way, until now I never fully appreciated how brave you modelers and CAD workers are for submitting your work for public approval)

This is an interceptor that I designed, I like the subtle changes, like the wings, and the enlarged engines.

Ive also made a new type of Cylon Raider, this is sort of my take on what they might use as a superiority fighter

well Ive got a few more, maybe next time if people like these...

Well I can work on other views, but I guess I should have mentioned, its just art work (Kinda) I was playing with the photoshop program on my mac and I clipped some frames from a BSG source DVD that I got and was trying to make new and interesting things that look like they could have been in BSG. If it looks familiar, thats because the clips are from a BSG source DVD that is probably on everyones shelf already. Sorry if I misled anyone, that wasnt what I meant to do, which is why I didnt say they were models, just art. Im sorry, but I can make some other views, Im sure I can, I just gotta get better with that program, its not easy. Well, Im sure its easy for guys like Titan, but Im a plebe.

This is something that I made to give the Cylons a sort of aircraft, not so much a space craft, though I guess it could do either job. Since the Viper is a single seater, why not a single seater Raider made to hunt Vipers?

And in my stories I have this total piece of crap version of the Viper called the Mk2F. This is how I picture it.

And since fighter technology is always evolving, I figured that the Colonials would have something new and interesting on the boards, like maybe this...

Anyhow, more to come, I hope noone is mad at me, Im sorry, but this stuff is just pictures, Im totally not smart enough or talented enough to make these for real!

tabbi

if anyone did make these for real, Id sure love some pictures myself!

This is an idea for a stealth fighter for BSG, it will of course look familiar, but its now a delta wing design and I think its a nice mixture of the new Raiders designs and what the new stealth from GINO look like. Its more an old style with the grey paint and all...

Grey stealth fighter? In space it would be not so stealth as the background is mostly black... Anyways, what's that plane for real? Some sort of prototype fighter?

I personally preferred the YF-23 to the FA-22 Raptor. Your Galactica pics are pretty sweet.

Thanks. True in space grey might stand out more than black, but black would also possibly retain heat more than a lighter color, and heat would be the second best way to find a ship, following MAD (Magnetic Anomoly Detection) but better than gravity disturbance

Yup, heat emission is quite a prob in space, that is if you're trying to hide, I rather have big guns on big ass ship and blow everything up that comes to haras me.

Actually, the gray standing out more or less would depend on lighting. In deep space, with no stars nearby, it would be just as effective.
