The uniform also looks spot on from this distance.

No, but given some of their other costume pieces, $300 is actually not too bad considering the amount of detail that the BSG jacket has on it.
I already have one that I got way back in 1998, but I would love to get this one if it ever comes out...

Probably. At the moment only like 400/500 people 'interested', but can guarantee more would buy them when/if they become available... (Seems like a "If you build it, they will come" kind of thing?)

Wow, 400-500. That seems like a pretty good number but I have no idea what Anovos is looking for to actually take it to production, perhaps something closer to 1,000?
Does anyone know?

Unfortunately, as you all know by now, Anovos had gone under. Does anyone know who took over some of the licenses? I saw something recently and another company is doing some of the runs of merch. I can't remember who it was though?
I wonder if they will still make the BSG jacket?
By the way, I also saw a video on Youtube about a year ago about a company called Sellgeek.com that was selling BSG jackets. The guy did an unboxing of the jacket and it looked pretty good.

Update!! I guess that's what the internet is for!!
A new company called Denuo Novo has picked up the Star Wars license from Anovos. At this time, they are doing the high end Star Wars stuff like helmets and Imperial Officers but unfortunately, not any other properties except Batman. No BSG.

Just went back to check on the Sellgeek website. The old ad for the BSG jacket is still there but it is sold out. THey still have a lot of dog tag stuff and pins from NuBSG but nothing from TOS.
One thing that caught my eye was that in the write up fro the jacket, they mention that it was made out of micro corduroy. THat was the same stuff that the Anovos jacket was going to be made from. They also said that they did not make the jacket, they acquired some from the manufacturer and had limited quantities.
I wonder if they got some from the Anovos run? Oh well. We lost out on that one...
