Down a thruster, but finally landing . . .
I know I'm tardy about joining, but I'm having a blast finally taking a good look around. This site is HUGE!
A bit about me. A devoted Starbuckian, an obsessed fanfic writer, I rediscovered BSG when the Cylon Head set was released. Not satisfied with reliving the series, I began my hunt for the original novels, and ended up discovering fanfiction. After lurking on the fanfic list for a while, I idealistically figured I could have a go at writing too.
Well, suffice it to say I've met a lot of similarly obsessed fans since then, and have had a lot of fun doing so. I'm looking forward to getting acquainted with even more here at CF.

Thanks, Pete!
My usual Avatar source seems pretty busy these days, so this recovering Luddite had to find a new one.

Could you spot me for a round until pay day, Sen? You know I'm good for it.

Hey Zaz! Welcome to the funny farm. I am familiar with your writing. Glad you decided to join up...although being tardy could land you in detention.
This place is pretty big...almost as big as a...Battlestar. If you have trouble finding something just throw up a flare and someone can point you in the right direction. We are "mostly harmless" here. (Just watch out for the bartender in the O Club... ) There is plenty to see here so enjoy and welcome aboard.

Re: Down a thruster, but finally landing . . .
Thanks, all! I appreciate the welcome.
Detention, eh? I'll be in the OC meeting this infamous bartender and spending Sen's cubits, when you're ready to fill me in on the details of my detention.
Hmm . . . now where is the OC?

Convenient, huh?

Get everyone out of the way; I'm coming in hot.
He'll be coming in like a missile!
Clear the deck for an emergency.
I hope you guys aren't counting off for neatness!
You oughtta see what she looks like from space! A beautiful sight, serene! Unless she happens to be your base ship.
