I say that and truly mean it.
We have been involved in our own little version of BSG. We, of course, are cast in the part of the Colonials whose very hopes of continued existence of the Original BSG is under attack from the "seemingly" omnipotent hostile forces, i.e., the Re-imagining supporters, who would be cast as the Cylons.
They intend to re-write the memory of our show, in other words, exterminate it, much as the original Cylons intended to exterminate the "life form known as man". They want the casual viewer to think that there is no other BSG except this re-imagined effort. They may yet get their way.
BUT, NOT WITHOUT A FIGHT!
In past years, I may have shrugged my shoulders and said, to myself, "who am I, what can
I do". Then, I discovered the forum environment and found a group of people at a place called "Colonial Fleets" that had similar thoughts to my own. I jumped at the opportunity to join that group and was welcomed with open arms.
Regardless of the eventual outcome of Battlestar Galactica, I will be forever thankful for meeting, if only electronically, you wonderful folks.
You have treated my contributions with the utmost respect and honesty. Granted, I had feelings about the show, otherwise I wouldn't be here. But, you folks have given me inspriation! You have helped me to better express my feelings into written words.
For everything, I want to say Thank You!
