Fairly New Drawings
https://ravensbranch.allen.com/coloni...criptions.html
https://ravensbranch.allen.com/cylons...criptions.html
It's been a while, I thought I'd repost some links to the pages where my drawings sit. There are a few new ones in case anyone hasn't been to the site in a while.
p.s. Stevew, haven't talked to you in a while but if you haven't been there lately, you might find a few new ideas to start working on.

Married life is good! We now have a new puppy, a miniature Dachshund named Bra'tac.
What's new?

Hey todd! Good to see you here! This is thomas7g. Its great to be able to say hi to you again!
You did that site with all the spaceships of different sizes right? I really loved that site. I hope you don't mind, but I added the same movable concept to the spaceships in the banner. If anyone here hasn't seen his site, they really should check it out. Its FUN!
So what you been up to lately? Did you work on the new mini?

Hey Thomas!
I didn't recognize your new handle but the 7g should have dawned on me.
i]You did that site with all the spaceships of different sizes right?[/i]
If you mean the site that has all the various ships from all the various genres in a size comparison chart, no, I'm afraid I did not make that page. However, my galactica size research page is one of my most "hit" pages and the people who visit it usually link to it from that site.
Let's see... My lastest projects were Charlies Angels 2, Big Fish, Peter Pan and I'm now working on Spider-Man 2. It's been a busy year!
Dilbertman - Actually, there's a raider in the playstation/xbox game that looks almost identical to it. I think the ones in the mini are quite a bit different overall. I'm not going to be suing anyone over it though, unless most of my designs do end up appearing in future games/episodes. Then I might have issues...

I modeled on quite a few of the vessals. I actually was one of the 5 that worked on the Galactica herself. I got a section to work with persay.
I modeled the Old Galactica shuttle in the opening scene. I also modeled the Gemini and a new version of the shuttle. The new shuttle is seen in the second night a bit. It was a lot of fun. It was a labor of love actually. My partner and i actually did it together. He is the research and development guy and i model from his dims and specs. We make a pretty good team.

I saw it in the sequence before the rag-tag fleet jumps to Ragnar. It looks like it's got four engines and is whitish in colour.

Yep. That's the one. Here's 3 shot's of it i put together quickly to show you what it looked like. This is the model minus the textures.
You'll see some definate similarities from the original shuttle in this one.
Don

Wow, nice work! I really like the Searcher; Kind of reminiscent of the Rebel blockade runner in SW:ANH...

Titon .
That design wouldn't be out of place in a continuation, also, I like that design better than the original because it looks less like a flying brick!
The engine configuration reminds me of the Narcissus from Alien.
Regards,
Peter

Your right Peter. The design actually came from Charles Adams who runs the starshipbuilder site. So in essence it's concept comes from kitbash builders. This ship would easily fit into a continuation as well as the mini.
