Colonial LandRams...
Here's something from way back in the begining of Colonial FLeets. An image of the Colonial Land Rams fleeing from the cylons to rendevous with the escaping shuttles on Caprica..
Click on the image above to get a larger view.
A little bit of history. If you look up to the right in the logo is the Protector model made by our own Steve W, fleet modeling machine. In the upper left is a non-cannon ship by yours truely called the Ulysses tanker. Just something i put together a while back. The Ulysses actually was a fill in ship in the Galactica 2003 mini series. The Land Rams and Vipers are yours truely.

I was looking at the hull of the landrams and the weathering looks great. I would like to see one where they are been fired on by Cylon raiders. and perhaps Viper in the distance racing to come to there aid..
I have just started to try a surface picture making sure to be careful with shadows etc any suggestion or pointers

To all concerned,
I have a mesh of the landram that I downloaded about 1 year ago, I think from the old BSG.com website, so I know it was out in the public domain at some point in time.

Alan (and everyone else) if you have any Galactica related meshes to share, upload them into the Download section
Just make sure proper credits are in the compressed (zip or RAR) file, AND that the model isn't already there!

I'm not sure we've seen any military vehicles yet. Starbuck had a Hummer back on Caprica, but I don't think it would have been a military version. Even if it was, she may have gotten it surplus. We have seen a few trucks, but nothing that would be in the same class as a Landram (I consider them to be an armored scout/assault vehicle similar to the US Army's Bradley fighting vehicle).

Nice work, but I think you went a little overboard with the blur tool IMO
