Battlestar Galactica 1978 Saga - 44 years later.

44 years later, watched Saga and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I can remember that night. Nine years old. I remember watching the first hour and then changing the channel at 9 PM because of the conclusion of "King Kong" and I didn't see the finish of that because of the news interruption (which means I wouldn't have seen the finish of Saga had I stayed with that).

The Fotonovel and the storybook was what I needed to fill in the rest of the story for me at the time. I think it was by the time of LPOTG, Pt. 2 that I was really finally drawn in and then I think when GOIPZ aired I never missed a show after that (except for Living Legend, Pt. 2 which I missed because I went to a hockey game that night!)

They announced the historic Egyptian-Israeli peace accords that night.

I remember watching Saga as well in my living room. Greatest thing I had ever seen on television.

Few made-for-TV offerings have matched it.

Didn't get a chance to watch Saga on 9/17 but I listened to Stu's AWESOME BG music throughout the day. Next best thing!
