Colonial Heavy Bomber (TOS)
Came up with this idea today. I'll try to develop the idea once the landing bay is finished. (This design is not final)

There is a Colonial Bomber in the BSG PlayStation Game.
It's pretty good too.
You might want to check it out.

Cool design so far. I see a couple familiar parts.

You are correct, sir. The shuttle did indeed influence the cockpit area. But it won't be as large, like 2 windows in the front instead of 5. I might not keep the tail fin. It might look better without it.

Design is a little more refined now (I gotta find something to do while scene 6 is rendering on my other project). Four engines, a large turret on the top and bottom (bottom turret is not seen in this illustration), and in the tail. A few of these (with escorts) could successfully attack a ground target or a basestar.

We had a discussion about this a while back

I like your design the best so far. I like how it seems to take the designs from the shuttle for the front of the fuselage. Though I think you should go with the red striping, the green is a bit too reminiscent of the green pentagon on the Cylon Raider. Another gun canopy on the bottom would be cool too.
So, how 'bout a Cylon Bomber for your next trick?

That, and a tail gun are already planned. Nice bomber model there, I take it that's from the ps2 game? If so, I have yet to play that game, let alone find it. I just got my ps2 a few months ago.
I might go with the red striping. I was thinking of inventing "Green Squadron", but then remembered that in "Saga Of A Star World", Apollo was Red and Blue squadrons and Starbuck was Green and Yellow. So forget that. lol!!!

That happened to me not long ago as well. Congrats, Warrior Silentbob! You will also notice that you now have a little Cylon Raider under your Avatar.
Keep going on the Heavy Bomber design. I like the design as well. If I may suggest, you might put the forward top turret mount further up top just behind the pilots seats. That way it would have a full 360 degree field of fire with little or no obstruction. Just a thought, not a criticism.

Somehow missed the second thumbnail (forward view) which implemented the modification I spoke of (disregard last post suggestion ). Looking good. Keep up the work.

Well, I guess I have to give my new ship a name. Since Colonial fighter craft seem to be named after breeds of snakes, and considering the size and firepower of this new craft, I now dub it............the Anaconda.
Feedback?

why don't you use this as a referance.
BOA class= light bomber
PYTHON class= medium bomber
ANACONDA class= heavy bomber
I believe that is the order the classes of bombers should be.
