May be just a rumour
I have just recieved a phone call from a friend who told me that BSG has officially been picked up. Again may just be a bad rumour but this person would not say it unless there was something to it. Don't trust me too far as I am just an actor and don't really get the inside stuff but this source is pretty reliable. I wanted to post this here first because you all have been so great to chat with for the last week. Here's hoping this site breaks the news.

Awesome!
That is really great news, if it is true! I posted to a different thread, but wanted to say in short I really enjoyed your portrayal of the FDC. Takes me back to my days on the carrier!

Hi Aaron:
Sounds like good news indeed. So should I practice my kissing skills to stand in for you! See the other thread for additional details.

Hi Piperkev:
I can see how taken out of context, that would be taken the wrong way! LOL.
But I'm glad you "figured it out."

Hey Piperkev
What baafan and I do in the privacy of my trailer is our business. Remember this is the military. don't ask don't tell.

Tyrol...sir.
If you ever get to talk to Moore..Please ask him if he is an Anime fan.....the look of BG2003 reminds me of a lot of Japanese Anime cartoons I have seen.....It really works
If he is, I really think he can bring BG to a whole new level.
Andromeda has been doing the same thing and they are already in their 4 season.
Congrats to you and the crew for your new gig....here's hoping for 5 years of exciting stuff..... I would prefer the mini series format....you will get more done in terms of story line and speed. But a series will be fun if it does happen. The DVD sales is where the money will be made for sure.

malachi42 How are you? great to hear from you again. You are right yor uncle did a great job with the show. I am glad you can now put a name to a line and face. And not to be picky but if I don't someone will. Capt. are officers ...Tyrol is enlisted. So make sure you call him Chief or you will get nasty comments fro, fans and particularly miiltary people. not here of course, these people are great. By me you can call me whatever you want. um yeah....sorta talking to you too. talk to me more

Aaron,
Coolness - hope the rumor turns out to be true. Gotta say that, overall, I really liked the miniseries, and was hoping they'd do a full series.

Do that!
Do that and remember to report back here if you find anything out. I'm sure it will all be rumors until sci fi announces something themselves but it's good to have hope. It's like having hope for the Bengals to be in the playoffs. What once was a longshot is now in reach!

Good luck with that. I don't know what's going to happen. But I've found its always best to be optimistic.
Being a BG fan is about eternal optimism.

The news about the series getting picked up is traveling all over the internet. Congratulations!
I do hope your character will have a prominent role. I have enjoyed reading your chats and it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and great support. If you see me at a convention or on the street please come and say hi. Give me your handle and where we spoke and that will help me remember. I am good with lines but not names.

I hope it isn't true simply due to the politically correct remaking of Starbuck. No offense.

Aaron, fantastic job on the show. The response to the forced venting of the ship rang totally true to me, and I could feel the emotion. Damn well done.
I have a question for you.
Maybe this is a writer/producer wierdness, but since you're the guy who gets Boomer (and I hate you *so* much for that ) I figured you'd be the one to ask.
Since it's been established that humanoid Cylons are *indistinguishable* from humans, even down to the blood, *why* did Six's spine glow when she was bonking Baltar? And since we know that Cylon spines glow when bonking, and since the show seems to be saying that Boomer is (may be?) a Cylon, how could CPO Tyrol never have noticed an odd red glow on her back?
As much as I enjoyed the show, that glowing spine thing struck me as bad writing.
Oh, here's the really important question: what is the name of the actress who plays the stunningly lovely petite tech who works with you? I was never able to catch the character's name in the show and didn't know what to look for in the credits.
Tony

Nice
Good questions, that whole glowing spine thing was a little too obvious for me as well. I mean to show something like that to the audience and not expect them to say hey why don't they notice that is kind of weird.
