KJ the notice should be in the convention forum (Michelle has a thread for Richard's schedule; Tracy does one for Dirk's schedule), but it certainly doesn't hurt to be here too. Looks like a great con for collectors. Thanks, KJ. It's good to see you back here.

The only thing between me and there is about 5-10,000 miles of molten earth.
But it does sound like a pretty good convention.

I moved the thread over to Conventions. Just thought you might want to know. I'll go back to daydreaming and wandering aimlessly now.

Yeah kind of like when i miss the San Diego and DragonCon conventions (every year? ) Still this is big news for us Brits, i just hope he gets to play his Second Coming trailers for us, without fail.
Dirk is going as well, so Galactica is pretty much covered and defended as well. And in Dirk's case he is representing two franchises Battlestar Galactica and the A-Team. being i saw him in Birmingham last year. i won't be surprised if he gets most of the people going up to him. All day long mind you!!!...

I had limited time yesterday & I knew I'd say that so you weren't likely to follow me. Bad on me. Couldn't think of another way to say, "we have this convention forum and that's where any notes about these appearances are usually found now." Kristi, our own Dark Jedi tries to maintain this as up to date as she can, Michelle and Tracy try to keep RH's & DB's listings up to date.
But it was a lot of fun to look at this excellently guested event that you're going to. You will tell us all about it, I hope! I'm glad you put it in news!

Just a note:
Treat Dirk's appearance at Collectormania as "tentative". I'm just seeing this listed myself, but I didn't get any confirmation from Dirk that's why I hadn't posted it.
He's away travelling at the mo, so my *guess* would be he possibly booked this right before he left and in his rushing around to leave forgot to mention it to me.
He's also supposed to be in Germany filming a movie around that time, so I'm not sure how he's gonna swing heading to England for a weekend con.
I'll find out what's going on.

Richard played both the 'BG : The Second Coming' and the longform 'Great War Of Magellan' trailers at 'Cult TV' in Weston Super Mare last year (2003), they were grrrrreat!
Cult TV is back at Weston this year (2004 - Friday October 8 to Monday October 11), top guests include Vaughn Armstrong (Enterprise's 'Admiral Forrest'), Chris Barrie (Red Dwarf's 'Rimmer'), Colin Baker (Dr. Who) and many more....

Here's something interesting.....
At the recent 'Memorabilia' fair at the National Exhibition Centre, near Birmingham - UK, I picked up a new flyer for Collectormania 6 at Milton Keynes. It appears that they are holding an event on the Saturday night ( Oct 2) at the stadium of the new MK Dons Football [soccer] Club (the MK Dons being previously known as Wimbledon FC - from London).
Anyhoo, the show (titled 'Collectormania - The Party') promises celebrity guests, competitions and games, and musical entertainment from 'Common Rotation' (featuring BuffyTVS' Adam Busch). Tickets are being sold through the website, but as I haven't decided if I wanna go yet, I can't really describe the buying process!
More info as I get it....
All the best,

News of the talks is in from over there!
https://www.collectormania.com/specialevents.html
Lets hope you know who gets one so he can show off a certain something to the audience. That would be a huge 'bonus' considering the amount they are charging for "talks" over there.
I remember that i heard Kevin Smith was at the Prince Charles cinema in London and charged up to £20 for just 4 hours with his fans!!!
Yeah a friend and i asked at the booth what movie is playing at this event. No movie the cinema patron said, just him on the stage for 4 hours talking?!
I pray Collectormania doesn't go over board with this as the talks are pretty high up at £10 to £15 Pounds as it is. I hope Richard Hatch and Dirk Benedict get a forum to talk in, soon. and show off his Second Coming and TGWOM trailers.

Pounds are still worth about 2x our dollar, right? that is steep then.
