This is the end, Beautiful friend...

Thats whats playing on WinAmp right now.
Sort of fits the mood for what i wanted to say.
I've been with this place for very long time.
But lately it seems I have been throwing down with the retorical kenjutsu more than I have been practicing the zen of moderation, and it is contributing to more drama than I am willing to have here.
So in the intrest of returning this place to the civil environment it once was I have decided to step down as admin, mod, dictator...
All of it.
I will miss the friends I have made and lost here over a television show, but that is the reality of things I suppose.
Mebby sometime I will come here to talk about that show with the friends i have left.
It has been a hell of a ride.
Thanks Darell, Don & Thomas for inviting me onboard and taking it with me.
We may have gotten into it a little (often) over the years, but You are still my boys.
Holla If you ever need anyhting...
Peace

I may not have agreed with you, but this just isn't right.
As far as I'm concerned you are welcome here any time. I just hate when things go out of discussion and get into personal attack, and you've stopped more of those than you've ever participated in.
Live long & prosper, Hito.

Hito,
I agree with Darrell that differences over a tv show would be a lousy way to mess up a friendship. In my case, other than reading your posts on this board, I don't know you from Adam, so it makes it easier to say this:
I don't always agree with your stance, but I respect your right to have a different opinion. From the perspective of a bystander, you seem to have held your beliefs out in the open for all to see, unlike a few people in this fight, who say one thing and do something entirely different. For that I say thank you and that I hope you will remain active here.
However, considering that your "give it a chance" opinion is different than the purpose of this particular board dedicated to the original show and a continuation of that show, your decision to step aside as admin, moderator, etc., may be for the best. Again, for your recognizing that, I say thank you, and I wish you well.
Tony

Another loss of a CF member. It would seem that TPTB have an objective to drive fans away from Galactica no matter what version is shown.
