randi oakes/tauran woman article
I know this article is only marginally related to Galactica, but I thought some of you might like to read it. It mentions Randi Oakes, who played the Tauran woman in the pilot and who is better known from her role on CHiPs. (The article is mainly about her husband, Gregory Harrison, who is in a play in Indianapolis.)
The thing about the article that I thought was most interesting was that you learned what the actors who appeared on Battle of the Network Stars got paid. Most of the Galactica cast appeared on it at one time or another. $20,000 was a lot of money in the late 70s.

Wow, it's amazing what a quick search will turn up!!! The fiance was musician Michael Porcaro (wonder if he's Jeff's brother?? Jeff was with the group Toto, if I'm not mistaken)....

Yup, Michael was in Toto along with brothers jeff and rob porcaro... Too bad Randi didn't stay with Michael. In 1982, Toto won 5 Grammy awards while riding the success of their album Toto IV fueled by the single, Rosanna....
