I'll definitely give this one a viewing.
Wasn't aware they were even contemplating doing this. Ridley Scott did such a grand job with Alien that I'd love to see how he flushed it out with today's movie tech. I especially liked the alien observer at the telescope. That shot alone is enough to get me to buy a ticket.
