Default Went to the Mayberry Websites

Just to see what they were like (and I sort of like the Andy Griffith Show too), and there are those who think we BG-fans are a bit hardcore. Do you know that the MayBerryians even have crossword puzzles? Leaves you wondering.

Just imagine the A-Team!

I loved the original series. The color version didn't really seem to capture the magic of the black and whites.

My favorite episode was the original appearance of Sherrif Andy Taylor on I believe the Danny Thomas show. That was funny!

Aww come on folks! Who hasn't tried to whistle that theme song?

Default StarBuck Would probably end up Sheriff

Or imagine Don Knotts flying as Apollo's Wing-man.

I love the movies Don Knotts made after he left Mayberry/Andy Griffith. The Reluctant Astronaut, The Ghost and Mr. Chicken, The Apple Dumpling Gang, The Incredible Mr. Limpett, -- you name it, I love it. Very talented guy.

Default Another Mis-adventure

Accidentally stumnbled onto a scuba-diving web-site. And I used to think Fleets got into highly-spirited "debates."

muffit, was the knots movie "the incredible mr limpett" the one where he turned into a fish? if that was it, that was a funny funny movie.

more on topic, i would like to see how "hardcore" the mayberry fans would be if someone (ronald moore) reimagined the andy griffith show" and turned barney fife into barbra fife. made andy have a disfunctional relationship with aunt bee (which by the way is now a drunk "loose" woman, sleeping with odis and half the town, which makes "fun" moments with andy dragging her out of the town pup.) oh no i better stop before i give ron and co. the "idea" for his next project.

Yep Nightscape, that was it! I loved that movie when I was young. I still have that song "I Wish I Were a Fish" stuck in my head even after all these years.
