A little too sharp. In PS you can go from point to point with a line using the airbrush, then do the same thing over it with a different color and smaller brush.
That how I use to do it but I am sure there are better ways

Much better. I would run the yellow most of the length. The lighting on the "G" is better as well

It would also add something, if you could add a faint red illumination to the surface of the cylon ship as though its being illuminated by the Galactica's laser blasts.

Hey Taranis,
Each version is a huge improvement. THis picture is really looking tight. I might suggest that you position the Galactica so that part of the Baseship overlaps it. That might help to create a feeling of depth instead of it looking kind of like the Galactica fits inside.

Does that make sense?
keep up the good work

What do you think of the frame/border for future pictures . later adding information
about Dark Exodus etc. If you like the present design of the border I may go back to the first battle pic and redo it??? any ideas ?

Well this might just be a personal thing (but you did ask ) but where you credit yourself for the render, it bugs me that there is nothing to balance that on the other side of the Galactica title. Maybe you could put your name at the bottom with the mesh credits, but put it in the middle or make it a larger font so that it stands out as the key credit. You should definitely get special attention, I just like symmetry

Excellent point Fragmentary, he gives credit to the tools he uses but forgets to tell people that he is the mechanic

Very nice. I wonder if you could get the light to radiate from the yellow explosians the way you did with the red lasers? Looking better and better

I hope some of the other artists who know much more than I about these things will look at this and give far better insight to how to do these things than I can.

That looks great
The fighters and the battle damage on the Galactica really helps to show the scale of these ships. The picture feels like a big epic scene.

Nice work.
