He? HE?
Are you saying that this poor fellow is of questionable gender?
He is a proud eunuch. Sure he may have had issues with steroids in the past but those days are behind him now.
By the way thanks for the kick into making this guy vk08. Been out of modeler for a bit too long now.

Re: The "Older" model
Okay was a fun day today. Real meaning not much time to spend on the " iron ape". Late start to the day and a fire in the apartment building a couple floors up made time real scarce.
Anywhooo Made some more gunk and junk for the arms...
I think I'm going to shorten up the whole bicep and forearm areas as they are just bugging the heck out of me.

Re: The "Older" model
Greg, I agree about shortening up those arms a bit.
It's looking pretty good, modeling wise!

Re: The "Older" model
Looks awesome! I agree that the arms are too long, if you scale the head up a bit it may help.
I really, really like the mechanical design of it!
I'm curious where will the shoulder pivot point be? With my own centurion model I had a lot of trouble positioning the shoulder pivot and preventing the shoulder armor from colliding with area around the neck. I was never happy with it and plan to re-visit it as soon as my shuttle and landing bay stuff is done.
I also like your chrome material, looks a bit weathered and possibly a bit more stainless steel rather than chrome, I like it, its tough!

Re: The "Older" model
Thanks.
The pivot for the arm will be located just under the bell armor. So I think I will end up with quite a bit of travel room.

Re: The "Older" model
Thanks y'all.
Still have feet, hands and a few odd hoses to do.
With those out of the way I'll call this one done.
I need to build it a weapon but I can't decide of a machine pistol or the M60 type machinegun.

Wow... Looks really good. Very impressive. Once I finish modeling my colonial character I work on a few cylons for my CG work as well.

Well gave rigging this thing a go. Has not been quite as tiresome as I thought it would be. The tricep pistons are not done yet.

Been fooling with the feet and the design is a bit bizarre but what the hay. I don't feel like redoing them.
