Here's one I heard and never really liked (as I was a tomboy and did it quite frequently):
Whistling girls and cackling hens always come to some bad end.

Muffit and shiningstar,
Glad you like that one. One of my favorites from Mr. Burns. He was a seriously funny human being. If you ever get a chance look for some of his quotes. He has some hilarious stuff, like, "Trying to have sex at my age is like trying to shoot pool with a rope." Of course, that's from the otherside of that watershed in human history, the production of Viagra...
Regards,
G A

Now for something a little more serious
For all sad words of tongue and pen, the saddest are those 'It might have been.'
John Greenleaf Whittier
God grant that this quote never refers to a continuation of the original Battlestar Galactica!!!!!!!

Gunstar Aries

Hi Shiningstar! Hi Gunstar!
Yeah Gunstar, I think I made that up over 20 years ago - never used it either! Used to have a list of "off-color" quips on a page in my desk - lost it over the years. It just sprang into my mind cuz at the time those were the most popular form of bumper sticker - about professions ya know.
Silly daggit! Quips are for kids!!! LOL!

Here's one that I heard but I don't necessarily agree with.
"Those who CAN .........DO.
Those who Can't .........TEACH those who DO.
Those who can't TEACH or DO criticize those who DO."
