Great War of Magellan reel
Hi All,
I've updated my Magellan reel with new music. I had an audio clip previously from the movie "Akira" which had an interesting Asian sound, but my wife and a few others all commented that it did not go with the visuals.
Well if I receive 3 or more unsolicited negative comments then I start to think there might be something to it.
I worked together an audio mix that is more "theatrical"... which to me sounds like every movie trailer out there. I'm kind of liking the new audio, but it's not unique enough in my opinion.
If anyone has any thoughts on better music, please let me know.
The clip is located on this page:
https://www.soliumstudios.com/sol-gal...leryvid-dl.htm
Format is a wmv file. Eventually I may switch these over to mov files.
Appreciate any feedback.
Thanks,
Dave

hey David! Excellent work! How are things going with Magellan?
Lets see... you asked for feedback. If I would suggest anything to improve, I would sacrifice a little more length of the movie for a higher quality compression. At least for public downloading. I like to watch a video at 200% size. I think that is fairly normal. But that always tests the compression.
Its great to see the Stilleto fly. I love watching the "flips"! The visuals are amazing. And I like the increase in quality from the previous file you had.
Big thumbs up!

Do you guys like the music, or is it too... typical.
If so, any suggestions on music?

The music isn't "TYPICAL" but it doesn't seem to have enough
VARIANCE in the TEMPO .........there's no real change. While
the music is GOOD ...........it could be MUCH BETTER with a little
"FINE TUNING". The notes are good it's the pacing or rhythm of
the music itself that needs the work.
