Thumbs up

Excellent work. "The details..the details." These images shine and as I stated the detailing is great.

Hi Steve!

Cool stuff! I'm going to go out on a limb and make one comment, though...

For my taste (and maybe I will be the only one to think this), there is a little too much raised piping--staple shaped arches of pipe that someone walking along the hull could walk clean under--especially on the top of the engine section. I know you don't want to do the same thing over and over, but the way you did surface detailing on your ships of two/three years ago was, IMO, near perfection! So if I were to give a "suggestion" opinion, I would say head a wee bit back toward that style if you find yourself agreeing with my nitpick and are feeling out what to do instead. (I don't think I have to reiterate how much I loved those ships--in fact, I am probably just biased toward wanting to see more of that exact same detailing style here.)

Anyway, that all said, I 'll end here with this...
GREAT WORK STEVE!!!

Most was an interpatation of one pik and the rest adlib. I just throw texes on for kix, I leave that to those who can do it right.
I think you are refering to the ones that Fabio did, He is a master and I am a rookie. The nice thing about Solidworks is that anything can be changed easily but the con version takea a lot of time and at 1.2 millon polys is is a hand full. There is much more to ba seen in a closeup

1.2 million polys. *holds breath*Jewels is definitely sticking to her 2-d design life.

Those are fabulous and McQuarrie would be drooling over your Warstar.

Beautiful stuff Steve. As always, I sooooo want to see them on the big screen.

Thanks DA and Jewels
I will put up a couple closeups at the CF gallery and you can
see what you can't see in the overall pik
