From SuperHero Hype:
Thursday, May 8, 2003 1:56 CDT
According to Box Office Mojo, X2 made another $4,896,464 on Wednesday from 3,741 theaters to push its six-day total to $103,042,715.
The sequel joins "The Lost World: Jurassic Park", "Austin Powers in Goldmember" and "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" which all reached the $100 million blockbuster mark in six days.
Well done Tom and Bryan!

The Variety article posted Sun. am had X2's 5/9-5/11 receipts at $41.4 million, US box office only. With last weekends $89 mill. that would be $130.4 million just in the US, just the weekend box office figures. Heh.
It was the top headline AGAIN in the online Variety. Heh.
Bravo, Tom, Bryan and the whole X2 team!
Bonnie made the hugest mistake a year ago. HUGE. $$$$$$$ Huge.
Hope someone at Universal figures this out NOW.

Seen X2 today again!
It was worth it, once again. Loud, big, epic, fantastic and great. I even brought a ticket for Matrix Reloaded for Saturday premiere tomorrow outside ODEON Leicester square. Then Saturday at the local.
Movies have alot of competition this year and X2 kicked it all off not bad for Bryan Singer and Tom DeSanto.

3 times and counting! I knew you (X-Men) would do well; my childhood friends. Those comics got me through some tough times and offered me a world where I could retreat to and regain my sanity........ well....most of it anyway.....

I believe that people that believe in fantasy are the ones that have a true grasp on reality...and I can see here that I am in good company......
