For so many things, in so many ways, there is nothing like the first time. Whether you think back on your first kiss, your first intimate moment, or your first vacation, it all has this magic we try in vain to recapture throughout our lives.
My first trip to Disneyland was special in ways I cannot tell you. I waited 3 hours in line to go on my first ride there, the Pirates of the Caribbean. And it was worth every second. That memory brings me joy every time it wakes in my mind.
There was nothing like the first time I saw BSG. It is a memory I will always treasure. Anyone who wishes to recapture that, please try to understand what made it so. The people, the costumes, the ships, the music, the stories -- it is all the flavor and texture of memory.
