No, because the answer to 64 down is "CIO", making Iblis impossible. Itmust, ergo, be "Cylon".

Yes, I knew "Cylon" was the right answer, I was only noting that at first glance before solving the other adjoining ones, one might think of another five letter answer and not automatically do "Cylon" until confirming with the adjoining things like "Han".

The Cylons now have gotten to The New York Times. They appeared in the Oct. 31 crossword puzzle. I filled out almost all of the answers, but as you can see, I didn't know some of them and had a few incorrect ones. I HATE the puzzles that put either symbols or extra letters in the spaces.
What you're looking at isn't actually the NYT. The local newspaper republishes the Sunday crossword a week later.
As to the Cylons, I think the reference is to the original ones, not the cyborg/human types in THAT WHICH SHALL BE UNNAMED. |
