Took forever for me to get the download of this. Watched it last night.

Fantastic upgrades of the battle shots. You really brought a lot of life to a lot of things that were previously static.

You also got me thinking about some possibilities, and that's always a bit dangerous.

And I agree with Russell. Your own visual touches always bring the battle and fleet shots more to life. Shoot, the opening title sequence alone was jaw-dropping.

Hey Dave, is it possible to get a DVD of your final version of Promised Land? Like if we sent you like $10 to cover the DVR, shipping & handling (not for the content though, we know that's copyrighted)?

Well, for my own sake and peace of mind I would never accept money in any way for the BSG stuff I do. Even to cover other costs. Maybe a bit of paranoia, and a bit of making sure it is a true not for profit fan effort.

I did have it over at fanedit.org, but they do not host the files. But if you PM me we can discuss further possibilities.

Plus... I have made a few revisions since the version currently online. AND... the online version has 150,000+ views! It has taken an upswing since hitting 100,000 and gets close to a thousand every couple days. Go figure! Nice to see people enjoying it.

If you do start offing copies, I'd like the info as well, you do AMAZING work and I regret the day I lost the copies you had for download. Damn PC crash lol.

Howdy all, and to all celebrating a holiday, Happy Holiday!

I've decided to upload my final version of Battlestar Galactica: The Promised Land to youtube. This has the revised battle with the AB Raider, the model shot with the modified 2-seater cockpit, and some other tweaks here and there. Even though the source video is 480, I did up-render it to 720 so it should look better on youtube than the previous version.

I am also currently uploading my revised "Judgment Day" edit, which is redone with the DVD source video for The Return of Starbuck. That should be up this afternoon. Also did a few little tweaks to that one as well, but the improved video quality is the biggest thing.

Ok, well, I did see it earlier when you posted the Hi-Def Final, and yes, it looks great. Your composites of CG with existing footage really bring the older scenes to life.
