Romulans vs Borg
Well, I decided to make this a short one.
This stuff is trying my patience. The rendering is insufferable now.
Some shots avg 3-7 min per frame. And trying to fix errors before render
is to date impossible. So, errors stay in.

Re: Romulans vs Borg
I have a Cylon baseship I made in Blender, converted for use in iClone. Works like a dream in iClone.

Re: Romulans vs Borg
That would be interesting, IDK if R13 can import a Blender file/obj.
I am pretty sure it won't on iCllone but it would be worth a try.
If you would, Save both and Email them as an attachment or Upload to a free file host and give me the link.
I would like to try and see.
Thunderstruck@gmx.us
I guess I could go and look but am lazy today. Beer fatigue LOL
Thanks
Randal R.
EDIT: these are importable in release R11, I got 13 - COLLADA, FBX, STL, VRML, 3DS, OBJ,
and DXF But I also got 3ds I can convert files with.... woot.

Re: Romulans vs Borg
Sent the basestar .obj to ya.
It was only 10 megs, so it fit into a Yahoo attachment for emailing.
Yeah, with the 3DXChange app I have for iClone, I can convert .obj, .3DS, and .skp (Google Sketchup) files for use in iClone. So, I build my ships' components in Blender, and convert them for assembly in iClone.
What I really like is, if I build the components large enough in Blender and then do the conversion in 3DXChange, when I import them into iClone, the components just fall into place.

Re: Romulans vs Borg
IF you can use 3ds I convert the models I use to 3ds and send them to you.
Most of em originally are Lightwave or 3ds.
If you want any of em just say so and Ill convert.
THANKS ,
WILL Look at em asap.
