Ok that is awesome. Books were great. Surprised it took so long for it to become a movie. We will see.

I'm glad they didn't show the green men... this is the last thing I will look at before I see it in the theatre.

Re: John Carter (of Mars) Trailer
Been reading up on John Carter as of late, and being currently in Kuwait (in a desolate place) and this takes place on Mars (desolate) it helps me feel the atmosphere of the stories. Basically Kuwait and this part of the world is what I believe Mars would be like if sustained by atmosphere generators.
I think this movie is taking the tame approach (giving people more clothing than they usually had but this IS a Disney movie afteral), but all and all it should be a lot of fun.

Really? So what got you into John Carter and how long have you been reading the books? I have read the comic books only so far (Marvel comics line and the new comics that are coming out), but I think I am ready to venture into the actual books now.

Re: John Carter (of Mars) Trailer
The first 4 or 5 books are the best for me.
I had the good look to get my hands of some audio book in the library and listen to the stories.

Don't knock it. Even Komma was a Colonial Warrior.
