ROWDIES are to face more policing in Belper after a series of complaints from residents.

Special constables are to step up weekend patrols around the town centre at part of Operation Boray.

They will be backed by specialist teams, including dog handlers, while CCTV cameras will be used to gather evidence. A police spokesman said there had been reports of anti-social behaviour around the town and this “would not be tolerated.”

He said the patrols would also “provide a visible reassurance” to local people.

You see when people of a certain age get into middle management then its THEIR cultural references that get in to the program!!

A packaging project I'm involved in at the moment spawned a comment from our Packaging technologist: more clunkier than a cylon on a staircase
when he was describing the deficiencies of a (proposed) bottle unscrambler.

All the over 40's laughed..
