Budget and Uniforms: A Costuming Issue
Hello folks, with moving on to a full episode this film will need much more in the costuming area. I know how expensive these items can be I own both a Cylon and full Colonial Warrior ensemble. The budget for this film is quickly shrinking with many purchasing decisions to come. I can’t know where money can be spent next until I have an idea on what costuming will cost.
Would you be willing to loan your Warrior and Bridge Officer uniform to this film?
Here is your chase to help out, any one loaning a uniform will obviously be credited in the film and receive a DVD copy of the film. At nearly a thousand dollars to dress a Colonial Warrior I NEED YOUR SUPPORT.

Not really sure what you're shooting, but here's a low budget idea. If you're going to shoot some warriors that will be far in the background, somewhat out of focus, all you really need is tan shirts, khakis and a brown jacket. If you can't see the detail too well, you probably won't notice the difference on film. Only the ones in the fireground would need accurate uniforms.

Jon, I'm playing the lottery. If I hit the jackpot, I'll give you a call.
Until then, though: Come on, people! This is a worthy cause!!

You can also shoot the characters from the waist up so that you don't need to get a full uniform. Good luck!

You'd think that with all the people that come onto the forums between CA, CF, and BSGClub, there would have been a seamstress by now that would have made and posted patterns for the uniforms.
Certainly the originals for the show had to have been done by patterns. Why haven't those turned up?
