Whatever happened to...?

There has been loads of speculation about whatever happened to Maren 'Athena' Jensen. But there are several other actors, who were in more episodes then Maren, yet have gone underground !

Does anyone know what happen to David 'Omega' Greenan ?

Also, there has been little heard about Tony 'Jolly' Swartz aside from one interview on BattlestarGalacticaFanClub. It was said he was a Teamster. What has happened to him since then ?

As far as I know neither were at Galacticon, nor have signed Auto cards for the Rittenhouse trading card set.

Anyone know anything ?

This comes up every so often. No one has a clue.

I was fortunate enough to ask Richard Hatch about Maren and Tony Schwartz. He was clueless about both. Just got the rumors and possible leads that went nowhere. Michele did try hard to get them for the con.

As Michele can attest to.

Hopefully they are leading fullfilling lives with several grandkids running around.

Btw, last night on E! I saw the bio on Linda Blair. And I learned that Rick Springfield and her were a couple for awhile! They were really smitten with each other for a small bit of time.

I was doing a search for something totally unrelated a while back, and with all searches some totally irrelevant stuff comes up. One was a autograph hunter's website, and in the search description was Maren Jensen's home address, much to my surprise !

I was 50/50 whether to send a letter. I didn't want to intrude, but we see so many celebs comment about getting fanmail, and appreciating it, that I decided to send a letter and a trading card, with an SAE.

Well, that's one less BSG trading card in my collection !

I never heard back........

And I suspect Rittenhouse will have tried to get in touch to ask them to do Auto Cards the for the BSG card set....

Hmm, I wonder how recent that was? I had always heard that maybe she was hiding out way over in Hawaii, but no one has ever been able to find her so I guess it is all speculation.

I would think that someone knows where she is...

A few do, but Maren has jealously guarded her privacy since the 1980s.

The most reliable word I recall - filtered out of Galacticon, if memory serves - is that she's living in New York state and is working somewhere in the recording industry.

Take it with a grain of salt, though.

The address I have is 6 years old. I'm not about to go and knock on her door to say "hi" because I have more discretion than that, and I am on the wrong side of the Pond !!!!

I know Maren did some musical stuff whilst she was with Don Henley of the Eagles. But if she is still working (unless it is by choice) then that would, perhaps, contradict stories that she sold her cosmetics business for lots...

Also, if she still is working, then perhaps she'd have done the Auto card signing for Rittemhouse !?!

I hope no-one is interpreting this thread as an intrusion into her privacy....

According to the IMDB site, Tony Swartz(Jolly) worked as location scout on 1999 film Election, and is listed as "transportation" for the 2002 film About Schmidt. It also says that he has worked on a number of documentaries & promotional films.

I wouldn't worry about invading her privacy, ernie. We are just talking about her and her possible whereabouts, we're not actually stalking her or revealing exact addresses here!

I hope she is doing well wherever she is. So many fans would love her to come out and let us see her after all these years, but you never know what she is thinking...

Let's see, when they filmed BSG, she was about 21 years old?? That would make her around 47 years old now?

I was searching around and found that Maren Jensen's birthday is coming up this month! She was born on Sep. 23, 1956 and that means that she will turn 48 years old in the next couple of weeks...

I also found this bit of info from a website: "Where is she now: (08/27/2003)
From my best sources I found that Maren went on to get married and is now living as a single mother in the mid-west. She guards her privacy and wants nothing more to do with Hollywood."
